The E. Tautz SS 2013 collection from London Fashion Week was a blast. Having nothing to do with the Bespoken and J.Crew collections from the last two posts, this is something that really interest me. This brand is designed by Patrick Grant, the gentleman in the last picture who also leads the famous Norton&Sons tailors in Savile Row (I was recently there!).
The fits are loose and in some cases goofy, some colors are bold, and capes for summer c’mon! Having said this, the E. Tautz SS 2013 collection just works. My favs are the shorts DB suit, and the yellow trousers. Is there a menswear collection without a pair of yellow trousers?

Há muitas coisas que não entendo nos desfiles de moda. Uma delas é esta suposta vanguarda da roupa larga. A roupa larga não fica moderna nem “diferente” nem original, fica simplesmente mal

Concordo inteiramente contigo, mas fico sempre na dúvida. Será que estes senhores sabem mais do que nós? Ou estão só a tentar ser diferentes?

A moda é uma tentativa de transformar um mercado naturalmente plurianual em sazonal. Mas o estilo é evolutivo e certamente não muda em 6 ou 12 meses.
A moda tenta forçar mudanças para apelar ao nosso consumismo. Esta colecção tem conjuntos clássicos que seriam bonitos sem o twist baggy.
