These days Gant is doing everything pretty much right. Hiring Michael Bastian was the cherry on top. He consistently delivers top notch design, quality and an involvement, A think that I find really alluring to the brand. Let’s face it, Gant passed through a kind of a rough patch some years ago, but now, it’s on track and steaming ahead.
Being a designer myself I’m really interested in the creative method that some of the most creative people, like Michael, employ. What he does is truly admirable.
For this year’s Fall Winter he turned for inspiration to a Winter in a Northern Country, a Scandinavian sensation of warmth with cold weather outside. Watch these little movies to understand his line of thought.
I’ve been with some pieces in hand, and may I tell you they look and feel even better in person. Real quality craftsmanship, amazing fabrics and an enviable attention to detail. This is what I call a job well done.
You can shop the collection here, and visit the Gant website for more pics here.

PS: I love that everyone is doing a tux blazer, Gant by Michael Bastian, Ovadia&Sons, Raval&Knight, etc…
