Being that the usual thursday post with the Xmas gift guide would be a little bit on top of the celebration, here it is, the last one for 2011. You can read and shop the other editions here: Xmas Guide #1Xmas Guide #2Xmas Guide #3.
For the number 4, I thought that it would be interesting give you Guys some cultural gift ideas. They are “easy to give” gifts, everyones loves a good book or a good movie, and if it’s too late to order online you can go to your local bookstore or fnac, and get it… So here it goes…

For Crime Thrillers, these are the books to read. The Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson. #1,#2 and #3, absolutely amazing, brutal and compelling reading, almost impossible to put down!

For finding the meaning of life and getting in touch with your inner self in a more spiritual way, Sidharta by Herman Hesse is the book to read. (One of my all time favorites!)
For an absolute Classic, and also one of my fav’s, Moby Dick by Herman Melville
The book I’m reading right now! On the Road by Jack Kerouac
And last but not least, if the gift receiver is an edgier Guy or Girl, here are two must haves, both by the great Brett Easton Ellis: Less than Zero and Imperial Bedrooms
As for the Movies, well… here it is a very small collection of the dvd’s that everyone should own. I really don’t believe in that I only watch a movie once! Movies are made to be watched over and over again, there is always something you missed, you are always in a different state of mind when you see it, so don’t Download Illegally, by an hard copy, or go to itunes….
